    • To know the term litigation
    • To know what the determining factor is for a legal dispute to be considered international
    • To know the first two legal questions in an international legal dispute
    • Be familiar with the initial steps in a legal dispute or a potential legal dispute and to understand their significance in this context
    • To know the terms «Applicable Law» and «Court of Jurisdiction» and their relevance in legal disputes
    • To have a basic understanding of how the applicable law is determined in a legal dispute in an international case from a Swiss perspective
    • To have a basic understanding of how the court of jurisdiction is determined in a legal dispute in an international case in relation to Switzerland–EU and Switzerland–«rest of the world»
    • To know the international consumer forum of jurisdiction and its advantage for consumers
    • To know and be able to explain the term «Alternative Dispute Resolutions» (ADR)
    • To know and be able to explain the meaning and purpose of Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR)
    • To know and be able to explain the terms «Change Management» or «Escalation Procedures», «Mediation», and «Arbitration», including examples
